Fly High 200 Hour RYT Certified Teacher Training
Established in 2014
I absolutely love what I do, and I love to share it. I am deeply invested in the quality of education that I provide in my Fly High 200 Hour RYS Certified Teacher Training Program. This program will enrich your knowledge of yoga, deepen your understanding of the body and allow you to share from your heart. It has been developed to explore the deep rooted traditions of yoga and how to apply them in our modern day life.
Additionally, you will learn my unique approach to soulful sequencing to create a fully embodied experience for your students through the practice of yoga. I know if you are reading this, you are curious and if you are curious…you may just be ready to dive in. Welcome!

There is no required application for this program, but those who enroll should feel passionate about yoga. When people really feel called to the practice, it helps them to remain focused on the program. Second, it is beneficial that trainees have a history of practicing yoga. Although a 200 hour training is the first level, if you have had a practice before the training, you will get much more out of the program. Finally, students should be physically able to participate. This training embodies Vinyasa style yoga at the heart of the program and it can be physically demanding at times.
The books that will be required reading for the program are listed below. These are included when you enroll by February 28th:
- The Key Muscles of Yoga by Ray Long
- The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark
- Holistic Anatomy by Pip Waller
- Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar
- The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Sri Swami Satchidananda
- The Bhagavad Gita by Eknath Easwaran.
Other Goodies and Details
- During the course of the program, outside instructors will be invited in to enrich your learning in certain subjects. These experts in their niche will vary slightly from program to program.
- The goal when you graduate, is that you will leave with a clear understanding about where you want to fit into the business of yoga, you will have a resume prepared, you will understand how to structure a workshop and we will also be doing a photo-shoot so you will leave with a couple of professional shots for bios, workshops flyers and whatever else you may need!
